Many men believe that being high value is synonymous with having a high net worth. While it's true that, all things being equal, a woman might prefer a richer man over a poorer one, this doesn't mean that money is a prerequisite for attracting women.

In fact, I’ve found that money isn’t always the deciding factor, based on both personal experience and the thousands of men I’ve worked with.

While money might help in the long term,

it's not necessary for making initial connections with women.

This misconception often leads men to rely on what I call "attraction proxies"—things like a six-pack, a flashy car, or a large income—in the hopes that these will automatically attract women.

But these proxies are not the silver bullet many men believe them to be. For example, some men with significant wealth still seek advice on attracting women, while others who are financially struggling might find themselves in successful relationships.

So, what actually works? Here are three key factors that are more effective than wealth in attracting women, and they won’t cost you a dime:

1. Confidence: This is the consistent experience of success and is essential in attraction. While genuine confidence is built through real success, having a bit of "psychotic" confidence
   
   —where you trust in your success despite past failures—can also be effective. Just like a football quarterback who needs to shake off setbacks and trust in their team, having this kind of confidence can increase your odds of success.

2. Emotional Engagement: Attraction often comes from engaging a woman’s emotions. This could be through humor, playfulness, mystery, or boldness.

3. The goal is to capture her attention by connecting on an emotional level, rather than relying solely on physical attributes or material possessions.

4. Contextual Alpha: Being a standout figure in a smaller, less competitive environment can be more effective than being one of many in a larger setting. For instance, a lead actor in a small theater, makes the actor the focal point of attention. Similarly, being the top player in a local scene, whether it’s a small music venue or a niche hobby group, can elevate your status and attract women.

These three elements—confidence, emotional engagement, and being a contextual alpha—are powerful tools in your toolkit. They address the real drivers of attraction and can significantly improve your chances of connecting with women, without needing to invest in material proxies.
